TERMS OF USE OF THE ONLINE STORE
These Terms of Use form an integral part of the Distance Contract concluded between the parties based on the Client’s order placed in the online store www.butterbliss.lv. The obligations set out in these Terms of Use are binding. Any breach of these Terms of Use may constitute grounds for termination of the Distance Contract. The Agreement is concluded for an unlimited period of time.
By placing an order, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use. The Client may not place an order in the online store www.butterbliss.lv without having accepted these Terms of Use.
DEFINITIONS
- Seller – Sindija Jātniece, operating the online store www.butterbliss.lv, through which the Client places orders.
- The owner of the online store www.butterbliss.lv is Sindija Jātniece, personal identification number 011192-11732, Food and Veterinary Service (PVD) registration No. 104947, with legal and actual address at Egļu iela 3a, Madona, LV-4801, Latvia, who, in the course of business activities, offers and sells goods to the Client in accordance with these Terms of Use.
- Client – a natural or legal person who places an order in the online store operated by Sindija Jātniece.
- Delivery – delivery of the ordered goods to a parcel locker specified by the Client in the order.
2.1. The Client may use the online store www.butterbliss.lv as a guest user (without registration). When placing an order, the Client must provide the following information: first name, last name, phone number, email address, and the selected parcel locker address for delivery.
2.2. The Client is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and up-to-date information when placing an order.
2.3. Order-related notifications (such as order confirmation, invoice, cancellation notices, etc.) will be sent to the Client regardless of marketing preferences, as these communications are necessary for order processing and fulfilment.
2.4. The Client’s personal data is processed for order fulfilment and delivery, invoicing, refund processing (including overpayments and returned goods), administration of financial obligations, and other obligations arising from these Terms of Use and the Distance Contract, as well as for the provision of services by Sindija Jātniece. Further information on data processing is available in Section 10.
PRICING, PAYMENTS AND DELIVERY COSTS
3.1. All prices in the online store are stated in EUR (euros) and include applicable taxes (such as VAT), unless stated otherwise. Prices valid at the time of order placement apply.
3.2. In addition to the product price, the Client is required to pay a delivery fee for parcel locker delivery. The delivery cost is automatically calculated based on the selected delivery method.
3.4. The Client may pay only using the payment methods available in the www.butterbliss.lv checkout system. Payment must be completed before the goods are dispatched.

3.5. Once the order has been placed, the online store will send an order confirmation to the Client via email.
ORDER PREPARATION AND DELIVERY
4.1. Orders are delivered to the parcel locker selected by the Client. To ensure product quality, the Client is required to collect the parcel within 24 (twenty-four) hours after receiving the notification that the shipment has been delivered to the parcel locker. If the Client fails to do so due to their own actions or negligence, the Seller/Producer assumes no responsibility for product quality.
4.3. The total delivery time depends on product preparation time and courier delivery time. Product preparation takes up to 24 (twenty-four) hours on business days (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and public holidays. Delivery time is determined by the selected delivery service provider.
QUALITY, STORAGE AND LIABILITY
5.1. The expiry date is determined by the manufacturer and indicated on each product at the time of packaging. Products must be stored strictly according to the manufacturer’s instructions included with each order.
Products must be stored:
- at room temperature for up to 7 days from the production date in original packaging or a sealed container, or
- in a freezer for up to 2 months.
Improper storage may significantly reduce the product’s shelf life.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS
6.1. The Client has the right to withdraw from the purchase before the product has been dispatched.
6.2. If the Client exercises the right of withdrawal, the refund will be processed within 7 calendar days from the date the written withdrawal request is received. Refunds are issued only to the bank account specified in the withdrawal request form.
6.3. If the Client receives a damaged or poor-quality product, they must contact Sindija Jātniece on the day of receipt and provide photographic evidence of the issue. A refund will then be arranged using the same payment method used for the original transaction. The Seller reserves the right to request that the damaged product be returned to the production facility.
Under Section 12(6) of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse the withdrawal or reduce the refund amount if the product has been damaged due to improper use, negligence, failure to follow instructions, loss of original packaging, or significantly damaged packaging.
ORDER CANCELLATION
7.1. In exceptional circumstances, Sindija Jātniece reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend online store operations without prior notice. In such cases, refunds for undelivered orders will be issued within 7 (seven) business days.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiations between the parties.
Consumers, as defined under applicable law, have the right to use alternative dispute resolution procedures by submitting a written application to the Seller including:

3. Description of the dispute, claims, and justification

9.1. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use unilaterally at any time.
9.2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
9.3. If the Client believes that their rights have been violated and the issue cannot be resolved amicably, they may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of the Republic of Latvia.
DATA PROCESSING AND PROTECTION
10.1. The Client’s personal data is processed for the purpose of identifying the Client, processing orders, delivering goods, preparing accounting documents (including invoices), processing refunds, managing financial obligations, and fulfilling other obligations arising from these Terms of Use and the Distance Contract, as well as for the provision of services by Sindija Jātniece. PRIVACY POLICY
We process your personal data solely for order fulfilment purposes.
Data collected: first name, last name, phone number, email address, and selected parcel locker address.
Purpose of processing: to communicate regarding the order and deliver the goods.
Payments: We do not see or store your banking details. All payment data is securely processed by the payment provider [Klix].
Data retention: Personal data is stored only for as long as required by applicable accounting and legal obligations.
